Huairou Science City at CHITEC 2019

From Oct. 24th to 27th, the 22nd China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) was held at the China International Exhibition Center (the old museum). Huairou Science City, as an integral part of the "Three Cities and One Zone" in Beijing's vision for a globally influential science and technology innovation center, was also presented at the expo. 

During the expo, Huairou Science City highlights two defining features, namely World-class Original Innovation Area and National Comprehensive Science Center. In the 216-square-meter exhibition area, a total of 18 exhibition sections are set up to comprehensively display the science city. 

The 18 exhibition sections include Huairou Science Overview, Mission and Responsibility, Strategic Positioning, Defining features, Development Objectives, Spatial Arrangement, Science Research Fields, Facilities and Platforms, Innovators, Innovation Talents, Innovation Activities, Innovation Achievements, Achievement Transformation, Openness and Cooperation, Innovation Ecosystem, Exhibition of Core Achievements, International Innovation City and HSC Outlook.

To let people better understand Huairou Science City, all the written materials in the exhibition sections are accompanied by English translations, which reflects the international vision of Huairou Science City. Besides, in order to let the visitors feel the scientific and technological achievements of Huairou Science City more directly, light box, spray painting, large display screen, TV broadcast, physical exhibition, and robot interaction are adopted at the expo, reflecting the internationality, scientifc and technological and cultural style of Huairou Science City from various perspectives and in all aspects.

Speaking of this expo, the biggest attraction are naturally the high technologies and achievements in cutting-edge technologies made by relevant institutes in HSC which are forward-looking and groundbreaking. 

Through this expo, Huairou Science City will exhibit its current construction progress and scientific research achievements of large research infrastructure and interdisciplinary platforms so as to let more people understand HSC and its progress in national science and technology innovation.
